I have noticed that the iPad Pro has rather poor battery life even with Bluetooth and other settings off, I tried to keep the brightness lower but realized it gets dull even at 90%. Which leads me to my question, what brightness interval do you use your iPad at?

I have it on auto-brightness, so the brightness level can vary significantly depending on the time of day.

Have mine set at 20% most of the time. End up getting about 11 hours of screen time. Usage is better if I don’t use the magic keyboard. I remember the good old days when I used to get 13 to 15 hours of usage.

Yup, set mine at 15-20% with auto-brightness turned on. Never ever move it unless I am temporarily looking at dark details in a photo or something similar. I use my iPad mostly for productivity or non-tv show or movie media consumption, like news or youtube, so very rarely need or like having the screen very bright.

The screens on these are super bright IMHO.

I normally keep mine between 0-30%, TrueTone on, Auto-Brightness off, Dark Mode off.

With Dark Mode on, I need to keep brightness higher in order to get good contrast which in turn gives me migraines.

For me, it's more comfortable to match the brightness of the display to ambient lighting instead of having it brighter/glowing at me.

I run mine typically around 40% while indoors and then up to max brightness outdoors as needed. I’m still quite satisfied with battery life on my 2017 iPP 12.9, particularly the standby battery life.
