Same here. I usually have 6 of the MBA's 16 brightness indicator increments lighted, which is 37.5 percent of maximum brightness.

Haha, I'm at 6 bars ... 6/16 =) I tend to like this brightness setting in a normally lit room for some reason. 1-2 bars (6.25-12.5%) when i'm in a room with the lights off.

Of course there are 1/4 increments too (by using shift+option F1 or F2 ...)

Can you see the screen well in the sunlight? I always have trouble, especially with videos.

Can see it surprisingly well. Amazing how bright the display is to be able to overpower the sun.
