1 Exchange, 1 Gsuite hosted domain...

What -broke- with IOS 13 and the mail app. Mail never seems to get pushed and the only way to get mail is to -refresh-.
I recall reading there were bugs, but even with the latest 13.3, it still appears to not have been fixed

It’s been like this since the first developer beta. They most likely don’t know how to fix it. I think it has something to do with memory management. I frequently get Safari notifications above web pages saying “a problem occurred and this page needs to be reloaded.” I’ve never had that before in previous iOS versions. The Mail seems to conk out around the same time I get that message.

It’s working a little better in 13.3.1 beta 1, but the same problem does occur. There is literally nothing you can do to fix it. Believe me, I tried everything. Everything.

May want to read this thread.

I have exactly the same issue with my exchange account as the OP; it’s really annoying and I’ve given up on Apple in terms of a fix. I also have issue with safari in terms of page loading.

If Apple spent more time on their core apps like mail and safari rather than on useless emoji things would probably improve.

Ditto, ditto and ditto. I opened at ticket with Apple Support on this back in Nov-Dec, during which they had me install three profiles on my phone to generate *enhanced* logs then sent me emails. They acknowledged the long delays in the push emails and then turned around and said it's working as expected. So frustrating.

You might as well call Walmart , you will get the same results

I had to install the spark mail app until it’s sorted.
I just did the same thing. I hesitated for years due to their privacy issues but I’m glad I finally installed the app. It’s kinda funny how superior it is in comparison with Apple’s mail app and as a bonus it’s faster and drains less battery.
