iOS runs a lot of background services tons more than the apps we just don’t have access to see those running services like in Windows or MacOS.

With the iPad Pro 11” or 12.” What can I disable to extend battery life I have already disable Find My iPad because it’s usesless it really drains batteery always reporting in when my iPad never leaves home. It’s a useful feature if you do travel with your iPad Pro. Also I do not have an LTE version I know disabling LTE helps.
Lastly I have set my 802.11 AC WiFi Router to a dedicated iPad radio 5Ghz Band 2.5Ghz is disabled since I don’t want the iPad Pros WiFi chipset switching or deciding back and forth between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Setting it to one 5Ghz band saves battery.
Have I overlooked anything ?

I’ve also never let the battery drain below 20% doing so ruins the chemical balance in the lithium ion battery and ruins its life cycle prematurely.

Well you can run it at minimum screen brightness. You can turn off fetch for your email accounts and set them to longer periods of time or manual. You can individually disable all the background services from apps and their notifications.

If you have a pencil you could not keep it attached.

Ultimately, the only way to preserve the battery extensively is to change how much you use it, but at the end of the day it's a device meant to be used. I love my iPad and use it every day for a couple of hours each day, but I really have never had a problem with it lasting an entire day. Is there something you are doing that requires you to be away from power for several days? If not, then I wouldn't worry about going crazy with all of this stuff.

Yeah I use mine a few hours a day as well, enough such that I’m comfortable with topping off the battery by charging nightly. I’ve never noticed significant standby drain on this thing, not like I notice on phones anyway (especially my android phones).

My understanding is that screen brightness and “on time” are generally the most significant factors with battery life
