Hello,

I bought an old 2009 Mac Pro and it came with a 4gb fibre ethernet card, the model is H3-25-77-01D
Is it good for anything? My other computer is a 2013 macpro, so it seems to be very expensive to get an equivalent ethernet connection for the 2013 macpro.

I have another 3 2009 Mac Pros, worth it to wire them up with the 4gb fiber just for laughs?

thanks

I would sell it on eBay. Not only the problem of getting more cards, but getting a fiber hub/switch as well.

H3-25077-01D is an old Fibre Channel card. They go for less than $10 on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=LSI+LSI7204EP

It doesn't do Ethernet, just FC (SAN). eWaste.
