Just curious. I'm want to unlock my iPhone 4 before I sell them on ebay(I still have 3-4months left with the contract). And I seen many people recommending using unlocking websites since they are cheap($10-$40) and easier process. But I was wondering what if the website that I use is a fake/scam. I personally don't worry about losing 10-40 bucks. But what else can be happen other than losing money? What can they do with my IMEI numbers? From my understanding, every cellular phones have their own electrical device numbers(IMEI) and it is used to identify themself when connecting to celluar tower/network. But I can't think of any way that they could use it for their profits.

Any information will be appreciate :)

I don't know of anything. Do you?

> your post does not answer my question

true, maybe your question is not valid?

part of what makes it not valid is that you offer no hypothetical possibility to answer your own question. That makes others feel like you are asking them to do your work for you. It also puts others in the position of having to prove that something does NOT happen. In this case, something unnamed and unknown.

Generally, questions that ask for proof of something that does NOT happen, are NOT valid.

It is MUCH easier to prove what DOES happen, than what does not.

In this case, if you pay for a SIM unlock, you get what you paid for, a SIM unlock. That is Affirmative.

enjoy your unlock
don't worry, be happy :)

ps, I just unlocked my iPhone 5 with cutyoursim. It worked!
