Yea the UAG is bulky more than some people care for but it's not horrible to me. I have tons of cases and always just end up right back with my UAG one the Fit and finish is superb to me.

Using a Supcase for now. Waiting for Magpul to make an iPhone 7 case

Does anyone have the frosted peel case on their black (matte) phone? I'm curious how that combination looks in person.

Well I have tried the tech 21 white check case, the Nomad leather case and the Otterbox Statement case with a clear back and leather bottom at the apple store. The Otterbox case is the best it looks nice and shows off the Jet Black quite well.

Does anyone know if there are any FROSTED clear, minimalist cases that are a little thicker than the peel cases?

I too have the OtterBox statement case for my jet black 7+ and I'm very pleased with the case. It shows off the glossy back and front and it gives the protection of an OtterBox case. I put a tech armor glass screen protector on the front

I ended up getting the Ringke Max, Fusion, slim, Air and Onyx all on a flash sale a few weeks ago. .99 cents each. Less then five bucks for pretty much the whole 7 Plus collection.

Black OtterboxDefender with my Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus. Absolutely love the size and feel of the case, including the protection. Hands Down my favorite case.

Isn't it a bit bulky? I've had Otterbox's in the past but hate the screen protector part. It kind of rests above the screen like there's a tiny gap.

Picked up the Tech21 Mesh case and the Speck Presidio. Wouldn't touch the Tech21 one with a 30 foot pole after using it for a few days - it's massive, makes the buttons near impossible to press, has huge cutouts on the bottom that allow for scratches and debris, doesn't quite fit the phone well, and looks like trash after light usage scuffed up the polished finish.

On the other hand, huge fan of the Speck case - feels quality, lightweight, slim, super easy access to buttons. I can see how some people might think it feels "cheaper" compared to the Candyshell, but I think that's just due to the change in exterior texture - the case is still quality in all ways.

It is a big case don't get me wrong, but to be honest I like how big the case is. I popped out the screen protector because I already put a glass one on my phone and would rather not have that gap and keep the clarity of the screen.

I know there are tons and tons of case threads so I won't start a new one! I am looking for a minimalist case, but something that still shows the back of the phone (at least somewhat) and has a bit of grippy to it. I want to keep my phone naked but its just way to slippery!!! So something minimal, close to naked but provides me some grip!

Ideas guys and gals??

Maybe try the peel?

Watched this video and love these minimalist cases. Caudabe. Ordered the stealth black to go with my matte black;

Looking at the Otterbox Symmetry for my iPhone 7+. Is there another case out there similar in style and protection to the Symmetry, but less in price?

Currently have the Ringke Fusion clear case and really like it. But want something more for protection in a case.

I don't have an alternative but I had a Symmetry on my 6 that has survived more drops, kicks, bumps and knocks that I can count. Best advised I have is buy something cheaper for now and be careful. Within a couple months they will be $20-$30.
