Isn't it a bit bulky? I've had Otterbox's in the past but hate the screen protector part. It kind of rests above the screen like there's a tiny gap.
Does anyone have the frosted peel case on their black (matte) phone? I'm curious how that combination looks in person.
I got one of those TOZO cases but the cut outs for buttons etc were not exactly centred. Didn't affect functionality though, but concerned about dust and lint getting trapped inside.I have this one which looks identical, but much cheaper if you want some pics

Best Buy?Just got Moshi Armor in onyx black. Great case! Aluminum backing. Raised lip to protect screen. Really a quality feel to it.

Not sure how it compares to the Defender in thickness, but I just reviewed it:Started looking at the UAG cases and really like the Monarch and Plasma. Then I saw the Trooper and with the ability to carry 4 cards, I could probably just leave my wallet at home. Can't find any dimensions on it though. I know it will be thick but does anyone know how it compares to something like the Otterbox Defender in thickness?

Awesome, thank you so much! This gives me much to ponder.I measured mine for the 6s+ and the Otterbox defender is 15mm thick while the UAG trooper comes in at 17mm. In terms of grip, for me at least, the transparent UAG cases offer more grip. The matte finish on the solid color UAG cases seem slick to me. The one case that I've always found to offer the most grip for me is the Speck grip cases. You may want to have a look at them.
Picked up the Tech21 Mesh case and the Speck Presidio. Wouldn't touch the Tech21 one with a 30 foot pole after using it for a few days - it's massive, makes the buttons near impossible to press, has huge cutouts on the bottom that allow for scratches and debris, doesn't quite fit the phone well, and looks like trash after light usage scuffed up the polished finish.
On the other hand, huge fan of the Speck case - feels quality, lightweight, slim, super easy access to buttons. I can see how some people might think it feels "cheaper" compared to the Candyshell, but I think that's just due to the change in exterior texture - the case is still quality in all ways.
I have a few cases....
Tech21 Evo Mesh - Black
Caseology Titan Series - Matte Black
Speck Presidio Grip - Blue/Black
Apple Leather - Red
Spigen - Thin Fit

phone itself is way too slippery. the texture of this material has excellent grip and feels comfortable even after handling for a while. the TPU on my 7 Plus (as with many of my other TPU cases in the past) always makes my skin sore. How is the grip on this case? Is it slippery? How does it compare to the phone itself (with no case)??
