Actually I just ordered a Spigen Hybrid Armor. I'm usually not a fan of cases with the logo cutout, but supposedly this one has the logo cutout protected by the TPU part of the case. Sweet.

It looks like the UAG Pathfinder (Black) is going back. I didn't like the added weight and the feel of the material. Not what I expected in all honesty.

I previously ordered the UAG Metropolis folio case and I absolutely love everything about that case, especially the look and feel of it. I had planned on using it for when I go places where I only need my credit card and my driver's license (theme parks, sporting events, bbqs etc) since it is a folio case.

I did order the Evutec AER case with the magnetic vent mount after reading the good reviews here and on the web. It's set to arrive on Saturday. If that one is also a mini brick like the UAG Pathfinder - then it's also going back and I'm going to order another UAG Metropolis case and cut the front flap/lid and use that was my daily iPhone 7 case.

I think you'll like the evutec, size/weight wise. Definitely give it a few days to "wear" in as the coating they use to keep the case looking good does feel slippery at first but gets better. I know because I had the 6s version and it was the same.

How is the protection on the rear camera on the Evutec case? Is there a lip that prevents the camera lens from touching a flat surface?

Yes there is a small lip that protects the lens just enough. The rear of the case is so thin that if it didn't have that lip it would be even with the lens I think. It kind of reminds me of a bumper but with a thin rear cover but bonded together, if that makes sense.

The Spigen Liquid Armor case is really nice and very thin. It almost feels naked and provides much needed grip. The only problem is that it is pushing my glass protector up from the corners causing air bubbles to form under the protector.

Does that case feel rubbery(sticky) or more like plastic?

It will be interesting to see how the 7 Plus version is. That seems like such a minuscule amount of protection for the camera, similar to the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. But maybe it's the angle of the photo.

I LOVED my Evutec for my 6s Plus and I'm really looking forward to the new version.

Do you find it slippery? I returned the black version cuz I couldn't hold on to it. I'm gonna try the Slim Armor to see if it's any better since it supposedly has some kind of coating on it.

Yes, I find the PC backing slippery, the rounded sides of the PC backing doesn't help. You will find the same with the Slim Armor (had it previously on my 6). If you want similar design with a bit more grip try the Tough Armor. Because of its squared sides it provides a better grip when picking up from a table. I also had this on my 6 after finding the Slim Armor too slippery.

I typically go between case to no case. I now have a tempered glass screen protector and a UAG Pathfinder case and do not see myself going without this case. To me, it is the PERFECT case. It is not super thick nor heavy. It is not slick while holding. To cap it off it looks AMAZING with my black iPhone 7+.

I have the non-clear UAG for my iPhone 6 and find it slippery. Is the 7 version any different in material?

Using the X-Doria Defense Lux case. Never tried their products before, but this case is awesome so far!

It looks like the black one has this SF coating on it, which supposedly adds grip. Guess I'll find out!
I really liked how minimal that case was while being protective for my 6s+, but it was too slippery for me. Going from that to an Evutec was night and day for me.

Spigen Hybrid Armor in black. Not really a fan of logo cutouts but at least it's protected by the TPU part. The lip is high too. Even with a tempered glass it's still pretty high off the screen.

I was actually first thinking about this case, glad to finally see some pics of it in black. I thought I would buy the slim armor in black with the black rubber bumper and replacing the transparent one in the hybrid armor. They look to be about the same size and I think all black would look real great. Sure a little spendy but with some deals on ebay I think it would be worth the look
