I was actually first thinking about this case, glad to finally see some pics of it in black. I thought I would buy the slim armor in black with the black rubber bumper and replacing the transparent one in the hybrid armor. They look to be about the same size and I think all black would look real great. Sure a little spendy but with some deals on ebay I think it would be worth the look

Just got it in yesterday. So far so good. Haven't used a Spigen case in a while. Try it out. Amazon has a generous return policy I think.

Just spotted the Caudabe Sheath case for iPhone 7 is now available for order! Only black version seems to be available at the moment, but that was the one I wanted. No sight of the 7 Plus version yet but I'm sure it'll follow soon.

Been waiting ages for it to be released and it does look great...

Ordered mine with 15% off (discount code: caudabefriends)

Yes there is a small lip that protects the lens just enough. The rear of the case is so thin that if it didn't have that lip it would be even with the lens I think. It kind of reminds me of a bumper but with a thin rear cover but bonded together, if that makes sense.

I received my Evutec case w/ magnetic vent mount today and I'm very impressed yet a little hesitant at the same time. Here's what I mean:

First, the case looks and feels amazing. Nice snug fit and perfect thickness and weight (light). Feels awesome in the hand. The grooves on the side makes it grippy to hold. All the buttons are very responsive and the material of the case feels amazing. Also the vent mount is great. Holds the phone perfectly and very easy to attach and detach.

My ONLY issue/fear is how flush the back of the case is with the camera lens. Evutec should have either made the back a little thicker or they should have added a little border/bumper to the camera cutout.

I love this case too much to return it and I'm looking for a way to add some extra protection for the lens in case of a drop on the backside.

Any suggestions?

Can't wait to hear your impressions. I saw that on their site and it's intriguing. It's also available now for the 7+.

Evutec Ballistic Nylon

I have 7 cases and this is by far the best imo. Perfect fit, slim, buttons are very tactile, protective and feels great in the hand. Works with my Dawise edge 2 edge glass too. Very high quality case. Well worth $25. Only possible drawback would be pieces of dirt and debris possibly could get caught in the ballistic nylon. Easy solution though is canned air to clean it.

Which case is it?

I saw this case at Target and was really tempted to try it out. The back seemed more slippery than grippy to me so I wasn't sure it would work out for me.

Yes, I find the PC backing slippery, the rounded sides of the PC backing doesn't help. You will find the same with the Slim Armor (had it previously on my 6). If you want similar design with a bit more grip try the Tough Armor. Because of its squared sides it provides a better grip when picking up from a table. I also had this on my 6 after finding the Slim Armor too slippery.

Spigen Hybrid Armor in black. Not really a fan of logo cutouts but at least it's protected by the TPU part. The lip is high too. Even with a tempered glass it's still pretty high off the screen.

I had the hybrid and currently have the slim. I really liked the hybrid armor but wanted the kickstand so I sent it back and got the slim armor. Both in matte black, both feel really good in hand and imo look great. The hybrid had a covered cutout, the slim has an open cutout . The plastic backs aren't compatible, completely different camera area so one won't work with the other. These were both reviewed on mobile reviews.eh, only the matte black have the soft touch, the other colors are slick.

I just got the Slim Armor in matte black also after returning the Hybrid Armor. Completely different feel in hand. The soft touch really helps with grip. I just put the case on moments ago so we'll see how I like it after a day or two.

Very nice! If I end up not feeling the Slim Armor I'll check it out. Good to know they have it at Target. It'll be interesting to see how the camera protection is with the 7+ version.

I just received my iPhone 7 case, the Atomic 3 series from Ghostek. It is a sturdy case with the aluminum sides that protect it from drops and 6-8 feet. It's also waterproof, IP68, not that the iPhone 7 needs it, but hey, why not get the added water protection too. I used to exclusively use LifeProof cases but after checking out the reviews and tests with Ghostek they earned my business. Additionally, my LifeProof case started to come apart for my iPhone 5S before I traded it in so I had to buy a new LifeProof case. Now that I have the Ghostek case I am happy. I pre-ordered it so it took a while for the manufacturer to produce the cases for everyone, but now that I finally received it, I am quite happy with my purchase. I paid $67.90 USD. Also, I have an Apple Silicon case that I will no longer use so if anyone wants it please let me know. It's black, just like my iPhone 7.

Is the plastic soft touch or just hard pc? How's the grip?

It's a TPU inner with a plastic bumper... honestly, it feels like no other case. The plastic is so grippy, but it has this kind of silky feeling to it, its lovely. Also the wavelength pattern on the back is super grippy. This feels like such a high quality case for the price!!

Got the white Apple silicone case on my matte black 7+ and I'm really digging the storm trooper look

Any photos? Do you like the case other than the looks?

I would like to see how this looks. I currently have a white case to give it the same look, but considering buying the Apple silicone one.

The Incipio DualPro is a super nice case as well. I picked it up today to try out. I like to swap between cases and the DualPro is a top case for me now. Very nice feel in the hand. Feels similar to the Mophie finish minus the battery case portion.

Hold up I'll take some pics with the iPad in a bit! Also, yea I love the feel of the case. Nice and grippy but it doesn't get stuck in pockets.

I like to use my phones naked, especially the Jet Black. For my Jet Black 7 Plus, I'm using a Sena Heritage Sleeve (this one is in brown; mine is a slate blue color).

For my matte black 7 Plus, I'm using a Peel slim-fit case.
