So why would you?

I buy something because I like the design aesthetic of the object, the case being superfluous and detrimental to that decision.
I don't want to put cases either but I'm very OCD and if I see a single scratch I will probably die, no reason why

Just saw on the Verizon site that Under Armour just released a line of cases. Might have to take a run and see what they are like

Did you end up getting one? I got one this week. I love it! (Excuse the dirt on my case. Cleaned that right off! Lol)

I agree with chabig.

Everyone uses different cases as per their choice. I use custom made cases that has pic of my family. As you said don not want to cover up the phone I guess transparent silicon/TPU case would be better choice.

nomad leather cases are so much better than apple leather cases and much cheaper.

...but they are slightly more bulky!

The Apple Leather case is slightly thinner than Nomad's leather case. I used Nomad's midnight blue leather case on my iPhone 7 and whilst it is one gorgeous case, I definitely noticed that is was thicker than the Apple Leather case.

Only camera I have is my iPhone haha, I could wait until my GF is home and use hers to take a pic though. Not much point posting a pic of just the case...

Whenever you get the chance! Just don't let her catch you so she thinks you're odd

I've got one of these coming today for my iPhone 7:

Never owned a bumper case for an iPhone 7 before so will be interesting to see how it is.

.....well, gotta say, that bumper case was VERY short lived!!!! I've already taken it off my phone!!:p

Being a metal bumper (the part which covers the lightning connector is rubber), it offers zero grip, plus the fact that as it is a minimal bumper, when holding the phone in your hand, your fingers will naturally rest on the back of the phone, so it will get plastered with finger prints!!

Also, I don't trust myself to hold my phone without dropping it because if it falls, its going to hit the ground hard, which is what I'm most worried about....!!! Oh well, you live and learn...!!!:rolleyes:

Well, after putting up a 3 star review on Amazon about this case, Ranvoo contacted me and offered to send me a new case, as a replacement, absolutely free! So I opted for this one, which I have often thought, looked really nice:

I'll post up some pics when I get it.

If you’re still in the market for a metal bumper (though it sounds like you aren’t ), ThanoTech’s K11 is quite good. It’s been my “daily driver” for some time now.

Well, my case arrived yesterday (Link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/RANVOO-Ant...&qid=1503044003&sr=8-2&keywords=ranvoo+3+in+1). Won't post pics as it looks exactly as it does in the pics on Amazon.

The fit is great - nice and tight (not too tight though!) and gives the phone a slimline look. It adds absolutely no bulk to the phone, which is great and although it doesn't really add any further grip to the phone (because the case is smooth), it adds a very minimal overall size to the phone, which in itself does help you to grip the phone better that you would if it was naked.

The case is a matt black color and has a smooth finish- the end caps, however, are a gloss black finish and do attract a little lint (depending how OCD you are!!).

The only negative I can find about the whole case, and again, this will depend on how OCD you are, is that the volume buttons and power button, all rattle when you shake the case. Even just by turning the phone from side to side, gently, they rattle (and it's quite a noticeable rattle) - it's as if the buttons are ever so slightly too small for their enclosures, but again, this may not bother most people!!

Gonna see how I get on with it over the weekend - can my OCD stand the rattling buttons!!!!!
:p

I just ordered a Caseology Wavelength case for my 7+, from their ebay store. Matte black.

$11 bucks shipped. Seems to have good reviews on YouTube.

I've had this case on my 7+ for about 8 months now and it's one of my favorite cases ever. Looks sleek (to me), is low enough profile, and adds just enough grippiness to the phone.

Thanks for the feedback. Seems to be a real good value. My brother bought one for his iPhone 7 and loves it.

I took a chance on this for my red 7 and this was my first case venture for a rugged case away from spigen and I was impressed. Grippy and not to bulky too.

Thanks for the feedback. Great pics and excellent looking case there.

My brother is in law enforcement and is always dropping his iPhone 7. He says it's protected his phone great. It appears these Caseology cases are a great deal for what you pay for them. Can't wait to check it out.

Maybe it's just the color but I have a Incipio ~logo~ on my matte black ip7 that is imprinted onto the back of the phone. On the case itself. the word incipio is recessed/hollow on the case. YMMV....

I received my Caseology Wavelength case today. I'm very impressed. I'll try to get some pics up in the next couple of days. I think this case is a great value at its price tag.

I think the same, if you put a case on it you might as well get any of the white front colours.

Not to be rude--more curious, why even get the Red phone?

No problem! I don't use this case unless out doing activities that would warrant a more rugged case. I like the red to show subtly but also do own a clear case for it.

Yes people do say why bother but even when I one day be brave enough to go naked it will be nice to look at.

I don't necessarily like to advertise it's an iPhone I'm very over protective of my phone!
