1. MacBook was working perfectly fine, do have a "replace soon" on battery though.
2. Went through security at the airport, and someone "mistakenly" took my Mac at the other side of the bag scanner, later to be retrieved by security. No visible signs of damage. Realised MacBook display wasn't turning on. Just black screen, with back-light and boot chime.
3. Realised screen was flickering on a little and managed to get it working for 10-20 seconds at a time (sometimes perfect, and eventually with a lot of static and glitchy movement) before it blacked out again. Was like the display kept going to sleep.
4. Backlight stopped working.
5. Plugged into external monitor. HD is completely fine. MacBook works as normal.

I have opened up my Mac, cleaned everything, removed battery, removed video cable, all looks fine. Can't send in to store or get repaired for another week. Any idea what could be wrong with it?
