So what are the kind of problems (specifically the permanent ones) that I could run into when jailbreaking my 3g? I reeeeeeally want to do it, but Im scurred of bricking it. How easy is it to do? What are the times during jailbreaking that things can easiestly go wrong?

over the last year ive unlocked an ipod about 30 times (manually, all the way up to one touch) ad an iphone. as long as you dont use ziphone (from what I hear) you are golden. you can honestly restore it not matter what.

i know alot of jokers run around here saying they bricked there device, but im telling you... its alot harder to do than you would have suspected.

i say go for it.

good luck

yea i bricked my phone (3g) twice and the one i thought you cant fix i did there is always a way to fix it dont worry about it

with dfu mode it's impossible to actually brick a phone unless you open it and snap the logic board in half then close it back up again
