Now that Apple has finally given us this feature, what are you using?

I was using "Kaboom!" from Call of Duty: Black Ops zombies maps, then had the R2D2 noise. Right now I'm back on just using stock "Noir", but am on the lookout for something new that's really cool, without being long and annoying sounding.

Let's hear 'em!

Edit: Just in case you haven't seen the link for how to create your own, here it is! https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1249998/

So here's a neat trick now that we can install custom text message sounds on iOS 5.

In order to make the "DROOOID" text message sound, open terminal and type in the command: say -v Cellos "droid"

Obviously, this allows us to use the same voice to say other things. I thought it would be pretty funny to take the voice and make it say "Apple" or "iPhone" and make that MY text message sound.

You can directly export sounds with this voice saying anything by using the command: say -v Cellos -o "apple.m4r" "apple"

This deposits the ringtone in your home folder. I have attached versions that say "APPLE" and "IPHONE" (it pronounces it correctly by the way ).

Enjoy!

Text Tones

Choosing a good text tone I personally find a lot more difficult than a ringtone, as it has to be short, easy to hear but not too annoying.
At the moment I'm trying out Navi from Ocarina of Time saying "Hey!" it's short, recognizable and quite high pitched so easy to hear.

Some previously used alerts were (pre iPhone), Caboose from Red vs Blue saying "Bleep Bloop" and the Mutant Enemy creature saying "Grr Arrg".

I'll be watching this thread for more ideas :)

I use the SMS tone featured on the Sony Ericsson phone used by the character 'Vesper' in Casino Royale

Its a short little 2-tone ping which is ideal for office since its unobtrusive but unique

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Can we merge this and the "dig my awesome custom tone" or whatever thread?
