What do i have to do to get iPhone in Canada?

What are the steps or procedures into getting an iPhone in Canada.
Im alreadly on rogers so i have a sim.
I can go to the States to get iPhone.

but as for upgrading to the newest firmware and unlocking/jailbreaking it what will i have to do?
also is there a way to disable using EDGE so i dont get killed for data?

all u need is round 500 to 600 bucks (8gb one)and you can get one here, if you wnat to pay less you ll have to go to teh states and get it yourself. If you already have a sim card all u do is use ijailbreak and you are good to go, takes like 5 minutes, i got mine a couple of days ago could nto belive how easy it is. For me even when i try connecting to rogers edge it says "could not activate EDGE:You are not subscribed to EDGE" because of the plan i ve got i guess, which i love this way there is no way I 'll have to pay those crazy rogers data prices, plus there is wifi everywhere i go...so it works for me..

Personally to unlock, I would use iPlus. Google it...
