Ok so I am running 1.1.2 on my 1.1.1OTB iphone. Almost killed my phone last night trying to get it back to 1.1.1. Finally after I got tired of restoring it 30 times I decided to stick it out with 1.1.2 again. Now I go to installer and summerboard will only install for 1.1.3 or newer firmwares. I goggled this and a lot of people were talking about summerboard (old) but that is no where in my installer!

What do I have to do to get summerboard back on my phone? I attempted a manual install last night and it wasnt successful. I was left with an apple icon that wouldnt go away. After ssh'ing into the phone I fixed my com.apple.SpringBoard.plist removed the rest of the summerboard crap and was running again. With that being said, does anyone know of a source that I can add to installer that still has the old summerboard on it?

I was having the exact same problem yesterday. You need an old version of Summerboard and that's difficult to find. Try this:

Add "http://www.satelite.ru/rep/" as a new repository, then you can install "SummerBoard (Old)" which is version 3.0 and will install on firmware 1.1.2. After this you should remove the repository, it's called "Danil" in the list of repositories.

fairly slow source, and took forever to download but it looks like it worked for me! Thanks for sharing the info, I will be sure to do the same if anyone else asks a similar question

SOLVED!!!!

got it installed and got my favorite theme running on it again! Gonna be nice not having to run a patch every time i install a theme like I did on 1.1.4. Nice having 1.1.2 back, i liked it better anyways!

now if I could successfully get it back down to 1.1.1 without bricking it again for the 50th time!
