The beta is sweet! So fun, it’s really stable for a beta. Let me know what you all thing. Here are the cons (Very little, it’s so awesome!)

Two small things though:

One: I can’t click the image size when posting or sending an image on Messages or other sites.

Two: Can’t add widgets to home screen.

Here’s my home screen.

Also text messaging is a bit buggy :(

Haptic touch is a bit buggy

But hey it’s a beta- I’m impressed!

What do you all think?

Question, if you put say the weather widget on your home screen, does the weather app disappear or is it still there?

The only thing that wasn’t working for me at first was Haptic Touch with widgets in the Today View on my iPhone. The menu would appear behind the Today View’s blurred background.

Aside from that, it’s a very stable beta. Not as stable as iOS 12, but definitely better than 13.

And I thought iOS 13 was great.

It broke my USAA banking app, but app library is a godsend. Since I’m way too lazy to restore iOS 13 I’ll just use the website until Apple or USAA fixes it.

Yeah, it’s kind of like Big Sur (ew), with some apps not working. I have a couple apps that crash :(

I so can’t wait to be able to check it out. I tried to sign up for the developer program, but it keeps failing.

Disappointed that homescreen widgets and app library aren’t included on iPadOS. Can’t get my head behind the reasoning on that. Also for some reason incoming phone calls on iPhone are still full screen on my 8plus as before but on iPad have the new better notification style.

The app is still there, but I moved it to a hidden page, since the app opens when you tap the widget. Some for my calendar and reminders.

Same! I installed the beta on my iPhone first and then thought: this is going to be so awesome on my iPad Pro! Only to find then widgets stuck to the left like iOS 13... I really hope this will change in future betas because the bigger screen is screaming to "mix and match" apps and widgets. Would love to see them change the spacing in between apps so more fit on screen. It's ridiculous to have a 12.9" screen and don't get any extra functionality on the homescreen.

Started out ok. I liked the widgets. Downloading new podcast episodes and app updates was extremely slow. Overcast and Tunein Radio wouldn’t play anything. I knew beta 1 would be buggy, of course, but I wanted to check out the widgets. I went back to ios13 quickly, but I’m encouraged by the new features of iOS 14.
