Hey folks!

We're always talking about specs and how fast and stables our machines are, but in the end it's not just about that, it's about what we do with them.

Why don't you show a little of your work?

I like to grease up and rub mine all over my naked body........erm....did I say that out loud?

At work, I use it for creating PDF's, filling out paperwork, and managing contacts and my calender using Address Book and iCal, respectively.

At home, I attach a 20" external display and porn it up.

I use mine for internet/email/IM. Music, Photo organizing and editing, home movie editing (converting VHS to DVD), Organization (iCal/Address Book), School work (word, excel, ppt)

Thats pretty much it.

I use it for everything - for work: programming, writing spec and design documents, testing my programs in Linux in Parallels, email and other general office work. For leisure: programming (yes, I'm a nerd), iTunes, organizing my digital photos, organizing and editing my home videos, email, web browsing.

my mbp has burned off my legs completely. Who needs legs anyways?

I use mine for heavy encoding, photoshop, videos, music, very light gaming, web browsing, email, IM and watching movies. I am on my iBook too much :D.

email
web surfing
photo organizing
iTunes
running my very small business

Mainly, I just bring it to committee meetings and set it on the table to vex all the Dellards present. It's so cute the way it sits there while they ask if I can open up Word files and actually play DVDs. And they're all wowed when we wifi together.

Internet, e-mail, music college, entertaining my daughter

I do some photos (iPhoto & PS Elements), and will be getting into more video soon.
I'll also be setting it up for Skype to stay in touch when I'm away in college (maybe even video calling through iChat if I can convince Mrs 26 that a Mac Mini would be an ideal addition to the living room), and I'm in the process of ripping my dvd collection to an external hd, and it will serve as my media centre (sans tv) while away.
I don't game, except I do occasionally miss Age of Empires 2 which I had on my older pc. I still have the disks and all.

And wasting hours here.

I use me Mac for about everything...

Mostly:

Abelton Live remixing, and composing.

Logic recording

Bit Torrent for all my Legal downloads...Legal in Canada anyway

iTunes for all things music.

Reason 3.0 for when I need a break from Ableton

Fantasy Football

MR

iChat, Myspace, iSight, and email to allow my friends to know I'm still here....

Toast 7 for everything from backups, to DVD creation to FLAC conversions

Automator for iTunes importing

and Dashboard for the little rubber chicken that lays an egg......
