I will say that I'm not crazy about seeing what looks like a metal part just past the "brush made of soft fiber materials."

Yes, for example I have Sketchpad HD and I can take notes with a stylus vice typing or using my finger. For me it is easier to handwrite a note than to type it.

Do you think the pointy part will work?
From what I've read, no it will not work. The iPhone and iPad screens require a fairly large point of contact in order to function properly. I ordered a couple cheap styluses (styli?) from ebay and want to see how useful the iPad will be for taking notes.

If Moses (Jobs) sees you writing on his sacred tablet with your profane stylus, brrrrrr, I shudder at the thought.

I might have to get this. The pointed edge would be way useful for notes. The pogo sylus is horrible for it.

I'm looking forward to using my pogo stylus on my future iPad 3g. Have any of you tried it on the iPad? To me, the bigger screen would make it work better.

I just ordered this one

Thanks guys, I will put this on a short list. Perhaps a email to the manufacturer of the product.
