Apparently it would kill Apple, affect their sales, ruin their image, damage the purity of the iPhone to have it 1mm thicker in order to have better battery life :>

They'll increase the thickness for 3d touch, but not for longer battery life?
Raise your hand if you'd rather have 3d touch over longer battery life. No one? Anyone?

higher pixel density 1080p on the standard iphone

a 4.3 inch phone - 4 is reachable all over, but feels restrictive for games, slightly bigger would be ideal

make it a bit thicker to allow a larger battery - which would also allow a flush camera

a grippier back

ability to access each file in a file browser

thinner side bezels

My question is what's normal usage? Because I do get a full day out of my battery with things like automated brightness, LTE, bluetooth etc all on. I view Youtube and use Plex on some days. I visit Reddit and Facebook and Groupme and Messenger and Feedly regularly. I use Overcast and Google Play Music when I'm in the car and my commute is 40 minutes one way.

I don't recharge my phone until the evening when I'm at home. So that's at least 10 hours from the morning unplug to the evening pick me up.

10 hours is not a full day.

Just coz you managed to finish your working day on a single charge, i wouldn't call it full day (24h is a full day)... unfortunately with the battery capacity these days, if you want to finish your day on the safe side, unless you're a light user, you need to carry a charger (or battery pack\battery case) with you, or at least having one in the car\working place.

I hope one day we will have one week usage from a single charge, like the old Nokia days... this constant running after battery charging is something i hate the most, spacial when im forgetting to charge it before im going out in the evening after a full day of usage. Luckily im having charger in my car, if not, no chance to finish the night with a working phone.

But I guess thinness of the device is more important then it functioning to many people.
The phone functions perfectly for me. At least 10 hours on a single charge for me. That's amazing. Better than any Android I've owned without having to mess with battery mods and AI. So what is this about "But I guess thinness of the device is more important then it functioning to many people"? If your phone doesn't last you at least your working day then maybe you should be looking at your usage. Even a dumbphone used at that percentage or scale wouldn't last nearly as long as it could.

When it comes to people complaining about battery. I've learned that its not because the battery life is terrible or bad, its because those people want to consume more. And even if Apple caved in and gave the public a really thick iPhone with a big thick battery the consumption would just increase and those people will be back to begging for better battery life.

My usage.

You are right, I want it to be a better "phone" since my business requires me talking on it.

I'm like you, I keep chargers scattered around the world. Not a very elegant solution but it works.

This is the absolute best I've ever gotten, like I mentioned above its good enough. But this isn't the longest I've worked and work is only half my day.

Full signal strength, wifi, pure business...well 2% Facebook but I had 5% battery consumption in "settings" so....lol

Yes, lower price. Overall engineering costs must be down by now. But, as long as the minions, including me, :) keep buying it won't happen.

I will also vote for longer battery life as it is less than my 6 Plus. I would say about 10-15% for me.

Otherwise, pretty damn good as is.
40% profit margin, with 2/3 money coming in from outside USA. Perhaps a 10% drop to 30% profit would be sufficient.

Longer battery life, and 1080p resolution on both models.

there is seriously no need for 2k screens on anything less than 5.6 and up screens. unless you want garbage battery life.

Flush camera
Less yellow in the gold (similar to 5/5S)
Less pink in the rose gold (similar to real rose gold)

How about moving the power button to Shinkarm someplace other than opposite the volume button.

Endless daily frustration, as i knew it would be after a similar lousy experience with a Windows Mobile phone a decade earlier.

Seriously, what design idiot thought that would be a good idea? Even more perplexing to me is that it made it past round one of prototype testing.

Edit:. also, I would like Apple to improve autocorrect to where it does not think that Shinkarm is ever an appropriate replacement word.

I want them to eliminate the 3.5mm headphone jack so I'll feel less inclined to upgrade again and actually keep my 6s for 2-3 years. ;)

What I'd like to see in the next iphone I buy though, is...

a slightly larger screen on the regular iPhone size. Squeeze a 5"-5.2" screen on a body roughly the same size, or a little bigger than the 6/6s.

Give me OIS as standard in ALL the current iPhones, not just the Plus.

Give us 20-25% more battery life in the standard iPhone. Seriously, the 6s battery currently is almost enough, but falls short on some days. A little bit more battery life would be all the difference needed. And yes, by all means, make it a little thicker, no one is going to complain!
