What extra equipment do you need to play a MB or MBP on an HDTV? I have a 34" CRT HDTV, and I'd like to be able to use it for games and some media. Is there an interface for HDMI or Component Video?

All you need is an adapter that takes the DVI output from the MBP and turns it into HDMI. Make sure gender at each end is correct. You should be able to find these adapters for $35 or so from Best Buy or Radio Shack.

apple makes a variety of adapters.

i got one, it was 19$ and it takes video from my MBP(DVI) and has a S-Video Out and A single RCA out on the output side. really simple and really effective.
