What do you think of this external monitor?

I saw it, and I thought it was a great hdtv monitor for my mac for the money. Any suggestions would be great.

its not a monitor its a lcd tv

if you are going to be using it as a computer moditor dont buy it but if you're going to be using it for a tv then you should get it

but for a 23 inch monitor optimal resolution is 1920 by 1200 for a widescreen display

that is horrible resolution for a computer monitor

check dells websight at dell.com and they have a 24 inch monitor for about that same price with many inputs (component, s-video, composite, DVI, VGA, 4 port USB hub, 11 in 1 memory card reader. Buy that one.

Agreed. That's a very low spec device, unfit for anything except TV.

That TV has less resolution that my MBP for almost double the viewing area. That means it will look horrible if used as a computer monitor.

It's not nearly as good as my interal monitor. I get to watch hamburgers going down.
