how do you incorporate this into your home audio setup?

i was reading about it on apples website but i still dont quite get it.

"enjoy music in virtually every room in your house"

does this mean you would need one of these in each of those rooms? and how do you connect it to speakers?

Probably won't help you, but with Sonos you can get Airplay in multiple rooms simultaneously via a single Airport Express.

Otherwise yes, afaik you'd need multiple units throughout the house and you'd only control one at a time. If I'm wrong feel free to correct.

The airport express has an audio jack built in to it so you can hook up external speakers to it and play music via airplay. I have one underneath my bed and one in the patio that I move to the front door just to boost range on my wifi when we aren't throwing a party. I have all of them set up bridged off of my Airport Extreme and if you use the "remote" app you can play music simultaneously throughout the house. Otherwise, you will have to utilize airplay to one single device at a time. I recommend the Apple TV if you want something to hook up to your TV and home theater which also features airplay.
