What do you use for power outages for iMac?

UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) which allows the i Mac to run for up to 20 minutes before powering down. I use an Eaton UPS.

Or better yet, put a power meter between your computer's power strip and the wall to get an idea of how much your computer draws with external hard drives attached.
Should be a simple matter to buy a ups that powers your system either through the outage/brownout or gives you enough time to shut down.
Most of the formulae out there include large fudge factors.
