Stuffy at best
And I'm an ex Rugby player but "blowjob" and Fathers day don't really go together in my book and "aint" funny, just expressing my opinion as you are yours...maybe when you do grow up and have children and "get it" you'll look back and understand where I'm coming from.
Well I will chime in here then! After being with my wife for 11 years, married for 10. Our sons are now 9 and 6, the best damn things I could get for Father's Day? (In no particular order).
1. My oldest son asking me to help him muck out is current iMovie Project and figure out how to sink the tracks he created in GarageBand to make it all flow.
2. My youngest, frustrated that he cannot find the right kayak or mountain bike for our next outing. (I know a G4/400 TiBooks is old but meh).
3. My wife, getting herself sexified, that means busting out the Victoria Secret gear she doesn't wear everyday and let the blowies, bionic seahorse, crouching monkey, hell whatever hits our fancy commence. We are parents and married, but we are sure as hell not dead. I never saw anywhere in the fine print of marriage contract that I had to become an old repressed, pissed off fuddy-duddy. If that was the case? I would have never signed up for this gig..
4. A bike ride in the hills with me cherished buds, followed by a nice open kayak paddle along the coast, close the night with tents, beers by the fire and ******** stories so thick we all have to put on hip wadders to get through it and buckets under our chins to catch the laughter of tears.
5. Taking my sons hunting for the first time this fall, I know it's a bit out from Father's day, but bear with me. Only to find them their mother is as good a shot as me. Biological appendages has no basis on aim. (A damned good lesson for them to learn in the long run I would think.) Dress, cook and dine. While I love my macs, I love my technology. I find that we loose sight of that is important not only in life, but in a family.
Mom's and Dad's should be affectionate in front of their children, it is not a detriment, it is a positive. It is a teaching tool by proxy. A wife too me is to be revered. A friend, a partner and the best friend you to talk about anything, respect and value that, and when all is said and done? Fulfill the primal side of life. After all what is the most precious gift of life aside from being a parent? Too enjoy life and love to it's fullest. We get one run at it, we get once chance to fill our days with every moment we will hopefully not regret.
So if that means, find compassion for others when you can. Parent like it was your last day, and never forget the carnal knowledge of lust that brought to you to your spouse in the first place? Well I am there, it might not all be right, I could write a different chapter for me life. But I have to say all things considered? I will thumb my nose at the nay-sayers. I will take pity on the repressed. And I for one will embarrass my life. Live each day to love and teach my sons. Show my wife everyday that she is the queen of our world, and be content with where I am.
6. As an after thought I will add this: Being the spouse of someone in the military is not easy. It really mucks with your career path as your are bounce around to follow. I think the ultimate gift I could give back on Father's day to my wife? Find a job that makes the money that I know I can make, that my family deserves.
