Does anyone have a photo of the main dashboard of what an Unlocked Phone or Jailbroken iPhone looks like, I am just wondering if it is worth the hastle and what I gain from just leaving it stock.

After a JB, the only difference you will generally see on the phone is an app named Cydia on your 2nd app page (although some will also add Rock and occassionally Icy)

Here is mines :)-

I would like to Jailbreak mine so I can use my own backgrounds and icons, or some custom setups that are out there, my only concern is?

What happens to the data on my iphone

What happens to the warranty

How easy is it to Jailbreak your iphone

Can I receive Apple updates, or do I have to restore update then re-jailbreak?

I am just concerned I would ruin my iphone, but I really want to use custom themes so I have to jailbreak it.

You back it up with iTunes and restore it back to your phone if you screw something up.

What happens to the warranty

It is technically void while your phone is jailbroken. If you need to get warranty work done, restore your phone with iTunes and Apple will never know.

Easier than creating this thread.

Restore, update, re-jailbreak.

It is highly unlikely that you will "ruin" your phone trying to jailbreak it.
