Are there any emulators that can be ran ton an iMac so i can get some idea of what using an Atv will be like.

What does Atv UI look like

Open Front Row on your Mac, that will kind of give you an idea of how the old Apple TV is navigated, the new Apple TV has a different, although still similar, UI.
So does anyone have any pictures of what the ATV2 ui looks like , i am going to be watching my own collection of DVD and TV shows and i was just wondering what to expect.
