iPod What does error -50 mean?

Hi,

I'm trying to convert some music to Apple Lossless (it's currently a PCM track in a .mov container). I can import the .mov into iTunes and play it, but when I try to convert, I get this error:

Error occurred while converting the file "filename". An unknown error occurred (-50).

Does anyone know what this means? Is there a "better" way that I could use to convert these songs?

Your error message means this:

-50 paramErr Error in user parameter list

I would strongly recommend Sound Converter it will convert almost any sound file to any format you wish.
