iPod What does genius do on Ipod Nano?

I have the 7th generation Ipod nano and since it has no internet connection I cant figure out what happens if you choose genius input?

IIRC, the Genius info syncs from iTunes on your computer.

So if I choose genius while im connected to my Imac it will arrange my tunes into the Genius categories like on my Itunes in my Imac.I have my Ipod Nano almost full so if i do this will it not work because there is no space left in nano or is it a process that does not use up more space on device?

Genius data doesn't use up much space. It should be fine.
