. . . iTunes cover flow shows separate album art for 3 of the 4 songs on an album?

Some background: I ripped 4 songs I liked from an album as separate songs
in iTunes, and added the album art separately to each song. The songs all
have the same Artist and Album name, and each song has its own number in
the album order. Two songs are "Latin" genre and two are "Pop".

I have checked each song to see if there are any extra spaces in front of or
behind the artist name or album. Some songs have composer info, while some
don't.

I have used this process on many other albums, and most of them display the
album art only once for all songs - but not all of them.

What am I doing wrong? ;^) Did I miss a setting somewhere?

Thanks for any advice or pointers . . .

Check your iTunes music folder and see there all in the same folder etc.

I've found that ever since I started using the Sort Artist, Sort Album Artist and Sort Album fields, I run into a lot less of these instances.

Interesting . . .

I've found that ever since I started using the Sort Artist, Sort Album Artist and Sort Album fields, I run into a lot less of these instances.

In all 4 of the songs, the info in the Sorting tab is exactly the same. One of
the songs has an entry in "Sort Name" - I didn't add it, and it is greyed out.
I can highlight it and delete it, but it comes back.

On a hunch, I deleted all 4 songs from the Library, keeping the files, and
then quit iTunes. I re-started iTunes again, and then did an "Add to Library"
for all 4 songs. Now I have only one album cover in cover flow - go figure . . .

Is this perhaps related to the iTunes preference "Keep iTunes Media folder
organized"? Do you have this checked or unchecked?

Thanks!
