What does 'Low power mode' exactly do in MBP ?

When in Battery and while plugged in ?

I have Intel 2018 13'' MBP.

Haha, are you saying Spotlight makes the computer not a normal computer? It was introduced in Mac OS X v10.4 (Tiger), when Apple was still Apple Computer. Personally, I can't imagine macOS without Spotlight, it's a lifesaver!
