iPhone What does MS update mean for us without A7?

I only have the iPhone 5. However, I have still waited to JB until all this hooha is over and all the tweaks work. My question, do devices without A7 need to update to new MS? Everything that I have read talks about A7 devices. If you have a good explanation, explain in lay terms.

I can't speak for anyone else, but before I updated to Cydia Substrate, nothing I tried with this jailbreak were working. Also, no wallpaper I had would show up on my home screen. Since I updated, no problems. Well, some tweaks I want to us need to be updated, but most of the problems I had are gone now.

Even with the new cydia substrate out there's still hacks that don't work at all or don't work right with ios 7.
Some work ok. I'd give it another week or so for devs to update their packages for ios 7 but if you want to update to ios 7 and JB go for it.

This might seem weird, but my 4S is running all around better with the new MS. Quite snappy.
