What does the new leaked MacBook mean for us?

Is this an indication that we will probably be seeing a Nvidia 320M with core2dou MBA bump?

That is the most likely situation. An i7 processor would give us the awful Intel GMA graphics.

Exactly, while it may be likely, it's not a certainty that a C2D is going to be used, unless Apple just don't mind releasing an update that will last 6 months.

But that puts further doubt, why did they not update it with the MBPs? It could well be supply issues or not wishing to detract (in the general public's perception) from the newly released ipad.

And don't forget that the MBA may not necessarily follow suit with MBP+MB, it's pitched as a premium notebook and may well be blazing another trail (as it has done before).

I just hope that this Macbook update is the explanation for the product code on the Aus shipment recently reported. I want to see the MBA refreshed at WWDC.

Apple could just as well create a stock of C2D which lasts a year or longer.
Creating stock in Taiwan or so isn't necessarily expensive...

What it means, is that if this MacBook leak is true then that is going to be the next spec of the leaked MacBook. It's a MacBook not a MacBook air and therefore we don't know what the next one is going to have

I'm guessing that the Macbook Air will get the NVIDIA 320 and retain the Core2Duo chips. Minor bump with a price drop maybe. No case redesign.

I don't think the new WhiteBook is the same product number that was reported last week, as I read (somewhere) that the numbers of the WhiteBook didn't match with the reported MBA number.

Scottsdale is correct. According to the administator at Macworld.com.au who broke the MBA-story, the numbers are different:

I was checking the story out last night. From the google translation of the Vietnamese page, it looks like the MacBook model number is MC518. Our rumoured MacBook Air number was MC516. Not sure what to make of that. They could actually be the same product, or we could be seeing both the MacBooks and MacBook Airs being updated this week.
