%)

Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information.
Volume Header needs minor repair

First, backup your data. Your drive might fail.

Second, boot to your install CD/DVD, select your language, then open "Disk Utility" from one of the menus at the top of the screen. You'll be able to repair your disc from there.

As I said in my op, my repair button is omitted and I can't click it to repair the HD.

and as HE said, use fsck to do the repairs :)

start-up while holding the "s" key to get into safe mode (text only, no GUI), type in the fsck -y command, and push enter. Do this several times until it reports no errors, then type in "reboot" and press enter......

If fsck cant fix the problem AND your HD is NOT failing, your other option is to get Diskwarrior or TechToolPro to repair/rebuild/replace the directory structures, which is the root problem that showed up anyways.....

ie: "Volume Header needs minor repair"
