what does this mean

I get this message when i save in illustrator. What does it mean?

Basically, if you save your file to an earlier version of Illustrator (say, you're in CS3 and you back save to version 8) some of the fancy stuff you've used on your file – like say transparencies or gradient meshes – might not look as you intended, because the earlier version didn't have such features.
