Does anyone know where my 3G symbol has gone, or why it's been replaced with a circular symbol? (Top of screenshot).

Very possibly it's been there before and I just haven't noticed, but wanted to check whether this was anything to worry about, or whether I had perhaps accidentally told my iphone to work on some other, circular(?), non-3G network.

Cheers

ps, sorry if this has been asked and answered already, I did search for it before posting.

I think it's when the thing can't find Edge. IIRC, that network connection is even slower than Edge.

It means you are connected to GPRS (2G Data) instead of EDGE (2.5 Data).

Please search next time though, as this has been answered several times, along with the 2.0 version which was a dot in a box.

Thanks for the answer, but to reiterate, I did search. Sorry you didn't read that in my post, though.
