Ok so I notice that if I upgrade from the trial I will get alias' (quite like my yahoo plus atm)

I've tried out the photos part by sending a photo from my iphone to my gallery, works nicely \o/ anything else that I haven't uncovered on site / iphone yet or is that it?

It has online e-mail, contacts, calendar, photo gallery, and iDisk.

You can use the services to sync your iCal, contacts, and mail with iPhone or iTouch. You can upload photos online, and use the iDisk to share files, or just store online.

I use it sometimes to transfer files to a friend because MSN is just slow. I'll upload a file to my iDisk, then give him the link to go to the public folder and download it.

I think that the syncing capabilities alone are worth it. I like to manage my contacts and calendars on my computer and don't have to worry about sitting through a long backup / sync by doing it through the USB port.

I also use it to add photos taken with my camera to iPhoto, by adding them to my MobileMe gallery, and then importing them from there. Basically any way I can avoid plugging my iPhone into my computer is good for me! :)

I actually bought MobileMe by accident...heheh, I had the trial version and meant to cancel it, but then forgot. Once I had it for good I figured I might as well get the most use out of it, and after I found other ways of using it (besides just email) I realized it's actually pretty cool.

you guys don't seem to be getting my point :(

I was refering to features that you can't use in the trial but you get in the paid version

I noticed the alias' but wasn't sure if there where anymore

As far as I know the only real difference between a trial account and a paid account is the ability to create aliases and the size of the iDisk (you don't get access to the full 20GB until you pay).

I too think that they are the only differences

thanks for the replies :) I am definitely liking it so far now that I've had a chance to play around with it.

I think i'll get a better idea of whether to replace my yahoo mail plus subscription with this when I get to play around with the find my iphone feature in a few days time :D
