My perfect email app has a feature or two from various apps. What do most people go with?

I like inbox and have settled on it after trying several others including stock. The stock app is good, but inbox I prefer, JMO.

Stock email is the best in both the look and features. I have tried many alternatives on both iOS and even Android. No other mail apps allow you to customize the sent and delete boxes like the Apple stock mail app does.

I use the Outlook app. One reason is the option to mark an email as read on the Apple Watch without having to open the email on the watch and having to force touch the screen to get the mark as read option.

Airmail.

I prefer to have desktop, iPad, and iPhone mail applications all being the same interface, options, etc. Outlook is a great mobile app, but the desktop application doesn't allow scheduling/snoozing of emails.

Spark. It integrates my various mail accounts flawlessly, and works well with other apps to handle things like attachments and saving emails to Evernote and such.

Use Inbox...love the way it sorts mail by type (purchase receipt emails, promotions, travel, etc.) and keeps the pertinent, important stuff in my main inbox. It's cool that when I book travel and get confirmation emails for car, plane, hotel, it automatically groups that under one main mini folder for that city or trip that is easily accessed in the main folder. That folder stays at the top of your inbox until your trip is over. All old trips are archived in the travel folder like this for fast searching. I use my yahoo account for when I must give out my email for registration, free stuff, etc

On your iPhone?

How does it work in terms of your default mail app?
It's independent of the stock app. I use my default app for work email (Exchange). You just need a Gmail account and the INBOX app. Log into your Gmail account with app...understand that there are really 2 Gmail mail-handling apps...the Gmail standard app and the Inbox app with enhanced mail-handling capabilities. Only downside is it can only be used with Gmail accounts. Works for me as I have a separate app for my only other mail account, Yahoo. Here's an example of how Inbox sorts mail.

I use Stock Mail and Gmail. Are use only the stack of mail app except with two accounts I hate don't have good enough control over what address new emails are created from. I keep creating new males and they go from the work email and I want them to just go from my own email or vice versa. If someone has a way to fix this I would love to hear it so I wouldn't have to use two different apps.

I love and use Email (by Easylido) although it isn't perfect yet I love a few of their features so much (especially show attachments above a message).

Where is Airmail in the overview? I think it deserves more then being part of 'Other'.

Sorry I have to post again my older topic with the comparison of e-mail apps which I updated quite frequently and still is pretty much up to date I think to see alot of the features the e-mail apps have to offer.

I use Airmail as well. Most customize able email app I've found. Second would be EasilyDo Email, just wish it had a Watch app.

Spark, since it has iOS and macOS apps.

I do revert back to the stock mail app once in a while for mail drop though.

I probably have tried the majority of email apps available on the App Store. However, I always go back to the stock mail app.
