I'm pretty sure stock one has quick reply/compose now and the pop up notification... so what's the big difference?

lol uhm no, the stock messaging app doesn't have those features.

With BiteSMS you can reply from the lock screen without unlocking your iPhone. Reply to a message within any app then continue on with what you're doing. Enable different things for BiteSMS.
You're 'pretty sure' the stock one has QR/QC and pop up notification? Aren't you using it now?
pop up notification means quick reply to you? clicking it and leaving your currently app running just to reply and open your app again to continue what your doing...
with bitesms you can reply without quitting the application you are using you can even compose messages while playing or what ever app your using. you can put passcode on it. even view you message history.
a quick google or youtube app review will change your mind.

Quick reply/compose is the only reason i use bitesms. I like them so much i even paid the $8 to support the dev even though you dont get any extra benifits except no ads. The stock app does not have that. I used to love the Messages+ from intelliscreen but quick reply from bitesms is on a different level.

BiteSMS is the biggest reason i JB. The scheduling feature is great, also paid for the app just support the developer.
I'll just add a feature of BiteSMS here that I really like. Maybe documented already, IDK, but I found it by accident.
Muteing a sender. In the conversation list press and hold on one of the contacts you don't want notifications from. You'll get a Mute icon. Bang, no more notifcations of text messages from that contact. You still get the messages, just nothing shows that you got it.
This for me is great because I'm not really on Twitter. But I have an account and I get texted. And I don't care to have my phone go off every time Twitter texts me (which seems to be alot because some people can't seem to stop tweeting every 5 minutes). So, I muted Twitter. I still get the text messages if I care to read them, but my phone is silent when they arrive.
QR and QC is cool, but for me, that alone is worth the price I paid for the tweak.

True, I came across that feature by accident a few days ago and didnt know how to turn it back on
