What features do you wish Mail.app had?

i can't say that there is anything im really looking for in Mail, it behaves, works like it should, and does the job, now iTunes and iCal, those need some features still.
oh come on, humor me guys. 
I'm targeting more of the power users than anything else. one thing i am planning is full keyboard navigation, more in the vein of mailing list navigation, that sort of thing. but i'm certainly asking for any type of features anyone wants that they don't have now.

I don't want anything else either. It does what a mail program should do. I like that Apple keeps it small, light, and simple.
Same here, not sure what else Apple can add to make Mail.app better. Though I would like to see them try.

I'm not a power user by any means but I utilize as many features of the app as I think are necessary to get the task done. I'm pretty satisfied the way mail works.
The ability to edit subject titles, and mail body contents would be nice. I have alot of people that instead of just replying to my mail message, they'll start a complete new one. Or sometimes, the message will get corrupted (usually happens with hotmail subscribers), and it would be nice to edit it. Not the end of the world, but annoying nonetheless. Entourage has this feature, and it's one of the few things I miss when using Apple's Mail.
Oh yeah....bring back the progress bar. I know you can open up the activity monitor, but that seems a little clunky. With that being said, I love Mail's simplicity, and for ease of use features, it trounces anything else I've tried.

You can use Mail preferences -> Signatures to set (different) default signatures on all the Mail accounts you have. But you can still change signature on new massages you create, if you would like one of the other signatures for that spesific message (even if no signature is defined for that account by default)...
no worries guys. i will definitely work to get your money no worries it'll be a good price for what it will do. trust me, lots of neat things to make your mail experience easier and less time consuming. I will be aiming more towards the power user who gets lots of emails or just likes to control the mail they get. but it'll do nearly everything that Mail.app does and LOTS more.

I've already got "it's too slow" and and the progress bar thing. keep 'em coming.

Yes! That's the only 'niggle' I have with Mail. Other than that, I have no quibbles whatsoever.toneloco2881 said:

oh, and forget asking if it can use a defferent server to send an email if one fails, i dont care how you do it just do it! (i use 5 ISPs during my week and each one rejects at least of of my smtp serversso it pops down a question to send with a different account's server, but using the same email address)

i'm looking at selling it for between $25-50 a pop, with quite possibly a "per user" license rather than "per computer." meaning you buy a license, and you can use it on as many computers as you have in your house or office (your computer, not company wide). bulk licensing for businesses will be more along the lines of "email me for pricing." doesn't mean you can send to friends though also educational pricing will exist one way or another. being a college student, i appreciate student pricing, so i plan to do the same.

so, ground up brand new application that i hope to at least somewhere along the line, support everything that Mail.app does besides the new stuff i'll be adding. no worries, i think i have enough ideas to get your $25-50 especially if you get lots of email.btw, it will support Address Book, Spotlight, and Automator for starters. Leaving it in 10.4+ territory.
Better spam handling. I'm still using Panther Mail, but I haven't heard that Tiger's any better. I've tried some anti-spam plugins, but they were WAY too complicated. I want something simple, that works!
I've installed Spam Karma on my blogs, and it successfully filters out EVERY spam post, and was a breeze to configure. Why can't Mail do that?
