Im trying to find some clean games to get for my macbook. Im looking for games on that are T and lower and not games like COD and Halo. Im not about violent games but I do like games that are a bit violent like starcraft.
Thanks Chilaha

I dont know of any T or lower games for mac. Maybe rollercoaster tycoon or some racing games.

Here are the requirements for the games: (this one is for need for speed)

RAM (Memory) - 2 GB
Hard Disk Space - 2 GB
Direct X - 9
Heres left behind 3:

Pentium® IV 2.0GHz processor or faster
512MB RAM Minimum
4GB free hard disk space

32MB DirectX9.0c compatible GeForce 4 MX440 or ATI Radeon 8500 video card or higher

Microsoft compatible keyboard and mouse.

Bump

Is there a big difference in the amount of lag on bootcamp and paralels.
IS it significant or is the lag ok, cause i dont really wanna have to reboot every time i wanna go back to osx.
Thanks Chilaha

Building a rig

Yea, Id be interested. But, I hear it costs tons to make one capable of playing those games. Is bootcamp that hard to setup and does it have good performance with games. Or should i might as well go and build a PC.
Im not looking to play high requirement games, most are just strategy like Left Behind 3, Star Craft II, but i want to also play Need for Speed World and Marathon (which runs on any computer after 1995).
Thanks Chilaha

I don't think Boot Camp is hard to setup. It would be the only way you could play any games on that MacBook (it has the X3100 Intel graphics, right?) unless they were super old.

Parallels is not likely to recognize any graphics hardware in that MacBook due to the integrated graphics.
Booted into Windows you will get okay performance: which means that you could play games on medium/medium-low settings on games that are a few years old.

Even though Starcraft 2 is a strategy game, my understanding is that it's very resource intensive, more CPU than graphics, but still, it's hard to imagine that MacBook being able to play it too well.

I had played Neverwinter Nights 2 on my 2.2 MacBook (Santa Rosa) and got about 8 frames per second on medium settings with most effects turned off. It was playable in my mind, but a little logy at times.

Best of luck.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Yea, i think im gonna build... I have someone on Maxmimum PC forums helping me out with that and I found parts to build a PC that can run those games decently enough.
Thanks for the help
