What happened to Album Art on ATV2?

One of my favorite features of the original ATV was the screensaver that showed all of my album art while playing songs from itunes. It was great for parties or just seeing some of the old covers that I haven't seen in awhile. I really miss this feature.

Not too many years ago you could buy a separate system for the AV rack that specifically showed album art for the songs you were playing. It went for close to $1000. ATV made that piece useless.

Is album art gone as a screensaver? I can't find that option in the new ATV2. Am I missing something?

Flowers? Animals? Really?

You can turn Animals and Flowers off and just show the album artwork when you're playing a song.

Thanks Jaw. But I used to have a floating screensaver of all the albums in my library. I can't figure out how to turn this on.

Other than that I love the new ATV2!

I have heard other users also upset that this feature isn't there. Since they rewrote the ATV interface for iOS/A4 chip, I'm sure they didn't have time to put everything back in. Hopefully in a future update this will be back. I didn't have the original ATV but I would definitely prefer my cover art instead of animals or flowers. It should just be a matter of time.

There are more options than just the built in animals or flowers. You can use your iPhoto library, Flickr, and Mobileme if I remember correctly.

UPDATE: Just checked and yes all of those options are there and you can also use photos from any folder on your computer as well. If you want it bad enough, maybe you could just save a bunch of your album art to a folder on your computer and then choose that folder for the screensaver until Apple updates it to bring that option back.

I'm really bummed that this feature seems to be missing, too. The new TV seems to be improved in every other way (I streamed all my media anyway).

I wonder if there's an app that could parse all of the album art in my iTunes library and stick it in a folder...

I also enjoyed it, sadly it is not included.

Also, there is no way to randomly show photos in the screensaver. It also starts at the beginning of the library. Very annoying.
