What happened to the $399 Mac Mini?

Have I totally been sleeping? Where did the $399 Mac Mini go? Here I am telling people, "Mac Mini's are a great cheap Mac, only $400" and I've been wrong....I know there was a $399 Mac Mini, they advertised that price like crazy. Do where did it go?! Was the last update the time when it left?

I dont remember there being a $399 model..

I remember buying the upgraded model when it first came out, which was $599, making the one under it $499.

I really doubt Apple would have offered anything lower then that, or lower the price by $100.

The Mac mini has been $499 since it came out, except for the refurbs, which can still be had for $379.

I believe I saw a $399 Mac Mini on the refurb section of the site.
