What happened to the AirPlay icon in videos?

Hi,

Did the AirPlay icon in videos vanish?

I've got to waste time now, swiping up (sometimes multiple times) to get into control center and then press airplay and then the device and then hide control center again. Way more swipes and presses than just pressing the icon and device.

Also, have to do this for every video I want to watch. It doesn't remember that I've enabled AirPlay in control center.

Is this a bug? An oversight? Or an intentional UX stepbackwards?

Try opening control centre and enabling AirPlay from the home screen, not in the app. Then open you app and play the video. This should retain your AirPlay setting between apps.

Sort of works, though - most likely a result of being a beta - it stalls when one video ends and another begins.

It also seems to lose the AirPlay to AppleTV and revert back to the iPhone whenever you go back into Control Center.
