That went when Flixster closed their doors in the US, all we have in the UK is the Flixster Video app.

When you can’t find an app on the AppStore that generally means the company is not supporting its development anymore. Even if you have a way to put it back on from an older iTunes backup, it’s most likely that the backend has been shut down and the app will not show any data at all. Pointless.

But it is still on Google Play?

They may have just left it, you’ll be surprised how some developers don’t really care much about things like that. As long as the backend service has been shut down, having the app on your device doesn’t make any difference to them.

You can still download the app if you previously downloaded it before.
You’ll find it in your purchase history.

Is this something related to just UK? I still see the Flixster app in the US App Store and cant say I've heated anything about them closing their doors.

Yeah it’s related to only the UK. I haven’t seen it either. I just presumed that they stopped supporting the app.

Sorry I meant when they stopped supporting Ultraviolet in the US it disappeared from the UK store around the same time.

Not all apps.

Like Protube but thankfully I still have it and it is working great!
