What happens if an Apple Store order is cancelled?

If I have placed an order with the Apple Store and partially paid with an Apple gift card, and put the rest on a credit card, what happens if the orders in cancelled? Does it all go back on the CC? Does the gift card portion return to the gift card? Does the gift card portion return to my account as a store credit?

Since the credit card isn't charged until just before shipping, lets assume it hasn't even been charged yet.

Merchants can only refund to a credit card if the card was charged. You can't give a refund on a credit card for a payment that was made in another manner. You will get a gift card back.

Yep,, if the charge comes from a credit card. and u cancel, their refund the money.. Can't say by other means, since i only use CC.
