Hi guys...couple quick questions. I searched for the answer but could only find posts that were 6 months to 1 year old or older. Do the retail stores typically carry any i7 imacs? Or are those only BTO?
And also, does anyone expect a design change with the upcoming refresh (referring to the look of the iMac--I know some of the guts are gonna change).
As background, I've been a life-long PC guy, but with more and more issues requiring time to fix that I just don't have (with the latest being an issue between my printer and pc right before a major presentation for work), I pulled the trigger and bought a new mac-mini to test out to see if I liked it. Didn't seem to be as big of a learning curve as I expected and seems much more stable so I'm REALLY tempted to just say screw windows and pick up an iMac. My only reservation is lack of Outlook on it since a major use is for work and I'm not digging the built in mail program.
While I really don't need a super-fast processor since I rarely play any games (mostly just some photoshop and office applications with occasional video editing) I've gotten used to an overclocked i7 processor on my Win7 machine and find that the mac mini is too slow. Thought the i7 processor (even if the graphics card on it isn't super) would still offer comparable speed.
