Seems that there are many hubs out there and they usually are in the realm of usb-c 3.1 gen2 or 3.1 gen 2.

What hub are you using and peripherals?

Perhaps include what ports are available on that hub and whether it turned out to be a good fit for you.

Sure! I got a hub with a headphone jack so I can use a pair of EarPods with my iPad Pro while watching YouTube videos.

I have had a great experience with my NOVOO USB-C Hub and it has worked well if my iPad. The UBS-C Hub includes eight ports: three USB 3.0 ports, one LAN port, one HDMI port, SD card slot, TF card slot, and a USB-C Types C PD port. It has been a good fit for me and has met my needs.
