90's female vocalist, she was popular for a year or so, i think she was involved in promoting female rights too. not a bad voice, but trite lyrics and delivery in my opinion.

Ah, yes Lisa Loeb. I remember her, a bit of a one-hit wonder (so far as the UK charts are concerned. I seem to recall she won a Brit award for Best International Newcomer or something like that, and it was clear that Tom Jones (who was presenting the award) didn't have a clue who the hell she was.
