I've been wondering lately if these Verizon Commercials could possibly be Apple's idea.

Think about it, rewind to the iPhone 3GS keynote. It is absolutely obvious to me ( and you? ) that Apple was very dissatisfied with AT&T, even taking several potshots at AT&T. We've heard so much about how Steve won't forget quickly what Verizon has said, but what if he isn't forgetting what AT&T has done to his precious iPhone? And has secretly given the okay for Verizon to launch an all out attack campaign on AT&T?

If you look at all of the commercials, most of the attacks are focused on AT&T. I would say that the "iDon't" commercials were pretty focused on the iPhone, but at the same time ... that was a Motorola commercial ... Right?

So in the wake of the mounting "evidence" of a possible Verizon iPhone, does anyone else think it may be possible that this is with Apple's blessing? I wound't put it past Apple to approve a slander campaign against AT&T using the iPhone ( and how AT&T cripples is ) seeing as AT&T's relationship with Apple has been very seriously tarnished.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Apple and Steve are still under contract and could be liable for such unethical practices.

It can't be slander if it's true. And we all know the att 3g area, outside a major city, IS like the map Verizon shows. The Verizon ads are great though, and the new one Isle of Misfit Toys is TOO funny.
